Skiing and Snowboarding
Lift Tickets: your RFID lift tickets will be provided at the Hospitality Suite upon arrival and will be confirmed for 1-2 days based on your event survey.
Ski/Snowboard Rentals: there are a few options for arranging your rentals through the ski area. They will provide boots, poles and skis or snowboards based on your preference. Ski helmets are also available to rent. Please book a fitting appointment ahead of your arrival.
Grand Sports: Located on the lobby level of the Steamboat Grand. Most convenient location with beginner through all-mountain level rental equipment available.
Sheraton Sports: Largest rental shop located across the street, slopeside at the base of the mountain in the Sheraton building. This location does have Demo level equipment for the more advanced skiers/riders.
Steamboat Square Sports: Convenient location across the street from the Steamboat Grand, located on the middle plaza level as you head towards the base area.
What to bring:
Layers are super important to keep yourself warm and comfortable. There are numerous lodges throughout the area to take a break, enjoy a meal/beverage and warm up throughout your day on the mountain.
We also highly recommend eye protection (goggles preferred), sunscreen (you are over a mile closer to the sun and the snow reflects the sunlight), gloves and warm ski socks.
NEED FOR SPEED: SnowMOBILING
Dress like you are going to spend the day on the ski slopes. Layers, water-resistant outer layers, gloves, goggles, neck gaiters are also encouraged. The outfitter will provide you with warm waterproof boots and a snowsuit if you need at no charge. Google rentals are also available, and open-face helmets are provided and required.
SNOWMOBILING (Tuesday, January 30 at 1 p.m.)
Ride over the hills and through the trees of snowy Saddleback Ranch. Your 2-hour Backcountry Explorer will take you through beautiful tree-lined trails and offer you the opportunity for free time on your own snowmobile in the big open meadows.
The ride is perfect for all experience levels.
CONNECT WITH NATURE:
HORSEBACK RIDING

Glaze at the Flattops, Sleeping Giant and Mt. Werner, and learn about where the ranch started almost 100 years ago. Upon the completion of your tour, you can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and a warm chocolate cookie.
A guide gratuity has already been provided for this activity. A vehicle will be picking up the group at 1:00 p.m. for an estimated 20-minute drive to the ranch.
